Website privacy notice
Updated October 10, 2026
This page explains what happens when you visit this website, view facility examples, book an appointment, or contact SECMAPTEC.
This notice covers the Cloudflare-hosted SECMAPTEC website, including its preview, and the inquiry and booking services linked here. During the transition, it does not describe the existing Wix website.
Information you choose to provide
The email contact links open your email application. Clicking a link does not submit a website form. If you send an email, we receive the contact details and information you choose to share so we can respond to your inquiry and discuss your project.
Email providers process communications as part of delivering that service. Please start with a general description of your needs; arrange an appropriate way to share sensitive facility plans, access information, or security records with us.
Website access and display preferences
Cloudflare hosts this website and processes technical requests to deliver and protect the site. These requests can include an IP address, browser details, requested pages, and request times. Application logs and traces are not enabled in our current hosting configuration. Cloudflare may still process and retain technical information as described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
This website stores your animation preference in your browser’s local storage under secmaptec-motion. It is used to remember your display setting, not to identify you. You can change it in the footer’s Display settings or remove it by clearing this site’s browser data.
Cloudflare Web Analytics uses a browser beacon to collect aggregate website-use and page-performance measurements, such as page views, referring sites, device types, and loading times. Cloudflare states that this analytics service does not use cookies, local storage, or fingerprinting to track individual visitors. Read Cloudflare’s Web Analytics privacy information.
We do not use advertising pixels on this site. Fonts and site images are served with the site. The optional Microsoft inquiry form, Matterport tour, and linked Microsoft scheduling page have their own data practices, described below.
Project inquiry form
The project form connects to Microsoft Forms when you choose to open it, or follow its separate link. You do not need a Microsoft account to submit an inquiry. The form asks for your name, email, optional organization, facility city and state, and project goals and timing. Responses are stored in our Microsoft Forms account and response notifications are enabled for the form owner so we can follow up.
Microsoft processes form responses and technical information as part of providing the service. Review Microsoft’s privacy statement. You may email us instead. Do not use the initial inquiry form to send access codes or sensitive facility records.
Appointment scheduling
Choosing “Choose a time” opens our Microsoft Bookings page in a new tab. The scheduling page is hosted by Microsoft; it is not loaded inside this website. Microsoft processes information you provide on that page, and we receive the appointment and contact details needed to arrange your meeting.
Review the notices on the scheduling page and Microsoft’s privacy statement for more information. You can contact us by email instead of using online scheduling.
Facility examples and the optional Matterport tour
The dollhouse image and floor plan for the pre-demo / renovation project example are served with this website. Viewing these static examples does not load a Matterport viewer or connect your browser to Matterport.
The embedded tour connects to Matterport only after you choose “Explore the captured space.” You can view the rest of the site and the matching floor plan without loading the tour. Once loaded, the viewer sends your browser’s requests and interactions to Matterport. Opening the separate tour link also takes you to that service.
Read Matterport’s Showcase data privacy information and the Global Privacy Notice linked by Matterport for details about its processing.
Handling and keeping inquiry records
Our owner, John Skuse, currently handles website inquiries and bookings. Information is stored in our business email, Microsoft Forms, and Microsoft Bookings accounts. Account administrators and service providers may also have access as part of administering and operating those services.
We currently have no scheduled deletion period for inquiry and booking records. They remain in our business accounts until removed. Service providers’ retention and backup practices also apply. You can contact us using the address below to ask about your records or request their deletion.
Your choices and privacy questions
You can choose whether to contact us, use online scheduling, open the inquiry form, load the tour, or store a display preference. For questions about information you have provided to SECMAPTEC, or to request access, correction, or deletion, email info@secmaptec.com. Privacy requests are handled by our owner. The rights and exceptions that apply depend on the relevant law and circumstances; this notice does not limit them.
Scope and updates
This notice covers website visitors, initial inquiries, and introductory appointments. It does not set the arrangements for handling customer scan files, project documents, or other service data; those must be agreed separately for the project. Changes to this notice will appear here with an updated date.
